Wedding photos are memories.

I want to make sure you get the most beautiful images whilst having the most fun possible. Wedding photography is an investment and a big part of your day. There are only a handful of other people who are with you from before the glam right through until the dancing, so it’s important we’re a good fit.

We’ve all been to weddings where the couple disappears for an hour ‘for pictures’, only to reappear for everyone to get a bit stressed about what combination of family formal group shots to take.

If that sounds like your worst nightmare, you’re not alone, I’d be hiding in a dark room after that scenario too.

My approach to photographing weddings has evolved over the years to maximise your time with your guests and each other. I’ll steal 10-15 minutes here and there through the day to get beautiful portraits of you and your partner. Many of my couples have reflected after their wedding that these little pockets of time together were some of the highlights of their day. Just you, your new spouse, a cocktail and a wander. THAT’S how I approach it.

Don’t get me wrong – I still believe group shots are incredibly  important, it’s what your mum wants and you’ll definitely look back on them fondly. But we’ll have the logistics of those organised well in advance and I’ll fire through them as quickly as humanly possible!

If I’m not stalking the sunset working out where the beautiful light will fall, I’m sneaking around getting lovely candid shots of your nearest and dearest enjoying the day you’ve put together.

I’ll pick confetti out of your hair and seaweed out of your dress. If you ask me to photograph your wedding, I’ll have your back and take care of the little things so that you can enjoy the big moments.

HOW IT WORKS

01. Have a nosey…

…and hopefully you’ll like what you see! There’s lots of my work on here in the blog, in my portfolio and also in this guide. My most recent work is always on my Instagram where you can also follow me to see more of what I get up to.

02. Get in touch

Choosing your wedding photographer is a big deal, so I’m always happy to have a chat or answer any questions you might have to make sure we’re a good fit. Fill out my contact form and I’ll double check I’m available on your date, we can then have a quick chat on the phone or Zoom.

03. Secure your date

If you’re happy to go ahead and book (as well as being delighted!) I’ll send you some online ‘paperwork’ to look over including a quote, some T&Cs and an invoice for the £350 booking fee to secure your date. I’m really transparent with my pricing and you can always see it on this page, a little further down in the ‘what does it cost?’ section. If you’re also on the lookout for a great wedding film maker, I can recommend some that will come highly recommended.

04. The big day!

I’ll be in touch a few times before your big day to check in and see if there’s anything I can help with. I go to a lot of weddings, so please feel free to pick my brains! 6 weeks before your wedding I’ll ask you to complete a questionnaire which will give me all the detail I need to be in the right place at the right time on the day, as well as all of your formal group shot set ups. 05. Your wedding photos

A day or two after your wedding I’ll send over a selection of images from your day as a little preview of what’s to come! My lead time for final galleries is around 8 weeks. I love seeing your images out in the wild so please tag me if you post on social media. If you’d like to see a full gallery from a wedding let me know.

06. Albums and prints

An online gallery is included in all of my standard packages. You’ll have full download, printing and sharing rights – or keep them all for yourself – it’s up to you! You can also order prints directly from your online gallery. If you have an album as part of your package, or you’d like to order an album after your wedding (hint – they make great gifts!) we will go through a process of designing and ordering your album together.

I try to keep my pricing as simple as possible. No hidden costs. If you don’t think your day will fit into one of the packages below, let me know and I’d be happy to make you a bespoke quote.

Yes of course! My couples’ galleries are password protected but send me an email at katuckerman@gmail.com and I will send you a link and password to a full wedding gallery.

The first step is to get in touch with me and check that your date is available. I then like to catch up with you for a quick Zoom call so we can have a chat about your day and make sure everyone is happy to go ahead. A booking fee secures your date, then the full balance is due 1 month before your wedding date.

Yes totally! You have full printing rights to your images and sharing is caring, so send them to all of your family and friends. Please tag me in anything you share online, I love to see your images out in the world!
