Hi, I’m Kathryn (yes, Tuckerman)

I create relaxed, documentary inspired wedding photography, for people who get the importance of great images, but don’t want their day turned into a photoshoot. Based in Ayrshire, Scotland, I love my local beach as much as a long haul flight. I work with folks from all walks of life and find joy in everyone’s stories.

I want your pictures to be a true representation of you, not just the aesthetics, but all of the feels too. I’m drawn to movement, emotion and beautiful light. Now that you’re here, have a nosey around the site and hopefully you’ll see what I mean.

Think calm energy, quiet encouragement, and maybe a touch of protective-aunty energy. I’ll give you space to be yourselves – stepping in when you need a little guidance, and disappearing when you don’t.
I don’t impose a style onto your day. I capture what unfolds – the colours, the light, the weather, and the emotions exactly as they happened. My work is prompted, not posed; relaxed, but intentional. You can forget about the camera and focus on what really matters – your people, your story, and everything that makes your wedding day, yours.
